On July 6, 2023, 37-year-old Robert Rob Fisher of Chantilly was shot and killed on the top floor of a parking garage on Launders Street in the McNair neighborhood of Herndon, Virginia. The shooting followed a heated argument between Fisher and a longtime friend and associate, 40-year-old Major Feheem Stokes of Herndon. Fisher suffered upper-body wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene after Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel and police responded.
Fisher’s daughter was nearby and called 911 after hearing the gunshots and reporting her father was bleeding profusely. Stokes later contacted authorities and was located at a nearby Coppermine Road townhome; he was arrested without incident and charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He was held at the Adult Detention Center without bond. The weapon was not immediately recovered at the scene, and investigators continued to probe the motive.
If anyone knew Robert Rob Fisher or has information about the dispute or the location that night, please come forward with what you know.
