A domestic argument in Lawson, Missouri, on the evening of April 27, 2024, ended with the death of 47-year-old Patty Neary.

Law enforcement found Patty in the bedroom closet with multiple gunshot wounds and five shell casings near her body, and evidence placed her on her back in the confined space when she was shot several times. Lawrence fled but was located at an associate’s home and taken into custody; he faces charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action and is being held without bond.
