In the early morning hours of November 8, 2023, 31-year-old Tiffany M. Angel was shot and killed in a home on Lynch Drive in Bucyrus, Missouri. A 38-year-old male resident of the house called 911 at about 3:02 a.m. to report that he had shot someone he believed was an intruder. After firing, he discovered the person he had shot was his roommate, Tiffany Angel.
Texas County Deputies and the county coroner pronounced Ms. Angel dead at the scene. The male resident was taken into custody and held for 24 hours before being released while the investigation continued. Authorities said a probable cause statement would be sent to the Texas County Prosecuting Attorney and noted Missouri’s Castle doctrine was being considered as a potential factor. As of late 2023, no charges had been filed in connection with her death.
If anyone has information about Tiffany, her movements that night, or the household on Lynch Drive, please come forward to assist the investigation.
