Kenneth Eatmon, 46, was found shot to death in a Hapeville, Georgia parking lot on March 13, 2011. His body was discovered about 12:45 A.M. in the rear parking area of a commercial property at 1005 Virginia Avenue, near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, beside his own car. The cause of death was gunshot wounds.
Investigators developed a witness lead describing two Black males arguing outside a truck hitched to an empty trailer; that altercation is believed to be connected to Eatmon’s killing. Despite an initial investigation by Hapeville police and later involvement by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, no arrests or public suspect identifications have been announced and the case is listed as an unsolved homicide.
Anyone who has information about Eatmon, the reported argument, the truck and trailer, or the area around Lang Avenue and the nearby airport hotel is asked to come forward.
