Jarlen Raymont Corbin, 29, was shot in the chest during a violent encounter at a Dodge’s convenience store on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville, Tennessee, in the early morning hours of January 28, 2023. Officers found Corbin shortly before 5 a.m.; he was taken to Tennova Healthcare and later died of his injuries. Corbin was a father and an entrepreneur who attended Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools.
Two men who were also shot that morning — 28-year-old Maleike Hamlin and 21-year-old Otis Barnes, both from Clarksville — were treated at Tennova and transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After their hospital release they were taken into custody and charged with criminal homicide in connection with Corbin’s death. A third person, Santanna McFarlan (born July 5, 2002), was arrested and booked on December 23, 2023, on charges tied to the same homicide. The case is pending prosecution.
If anyone was at the Dodge’s on Fort Campbell Boulevard that morning or has additional information about the shooting, please share what is known.
