Davion Jasper-Keyon Dewey Jackson, 22, was shot shortly after 1:20 a.m. on October 27, 2024, at the Rosamond Garden Apartments in the 3400 block of 15th Street West in Rosamond, California. Deputies responding to multiple 911 calls found Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds; he was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later. A second male victim with a gunshot wound was found nearby and taken to the same hospital. Authorities say the two incidents are believed to be related and have classified Jackson’s death as a homicide. No arrests or suspects have been publicly identified. Jackson lived in Rosamond and had prior convictions and firearm-related charges dating to 2022 and December 2023. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office or the Secret Witness line.
