Pablo Rodriguez, 40, was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds on July 15, 2024, in the 15900 block of Avenue 327 in Ivanhoe, California. Deputies discovered Rodriguez at about 7:45 a.m.; investigators later named two suspects: a 17-year-old male and 20-year-old Eddie Ramirez, both from Visalia. By July 18 both had been arrested and charged with murder.

Rodriguez was a lifelong Ivanhoe resident who moved there with his family at age 10, attended Ivanhoe Elementary School, and earned a reputation as a skilled barber in his teens. He became a father at 20 and suffered major head trauma in a vehicle collision shortly after his daughter Evangelina’s birth; that injury left him with a motor skills disability. Family and community remembered him for his humor, love of reading, and passion for dogs. His sister Rosie Rodriguez started a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office has not released a motive and has asked anyone with information to come forward. If readers knew Pablo or have information about what happened that morning, please contact investigators.
