I can't stop thinking about how Brieno's poor children must be coping after everything they went through. It's unfathomable that they not only lost their father but had to witness such a traumatic event firsthand. My heart truly goes out to them. I hope their family manages to find the right resources to help these kids process everything and begin to heal.
Does anyone know if the community has set up any specific support systems for the psychological well-being of these kids? I know they've done fundraisers for the funeral expenses, but I'm wondering if there's anything being done to ensure the children get the emotional support they so desperately need. It might be helpful to share any organizations or professionals in the area that specialize in helping children through trauma, especially with their autism. They deserve every bit of love and care during this unimaginably difficult time.
