Hugo Ernesto Cachua, 37, was fatally shot on May 30, 2024, following a traffic incident in Los Angeles near North Euclid Avenue and West 6th Street around 8:30 p.m. According to reports, a minor collision led both Cachua and off-duty LAPD officer Victor Corral to exit their vehicles and engage in a physical altercation on the sidewalk.
