Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the South Gate murder of Jose Baena. It's really got me reflecting on how crucial community involvement is in cases like this. I read that the authorities haven’t shared any leads or suspects, which seems to have left the investigation at a standstill.
I can't imagine how challenging it must be for Jose's family and friends not knowing who did this or why. It's just awful to have no closure. I think it's a tough reminder of how important it is for us, as a community, to share what we know. Maybe someone saw something that morning near Garfield Avenue? Even the smallest detail might be a big piece of the puzzle.
It would be great to hear if anyone has thoughts on how we can help spread the word or assist the investigation. Keeping this conversation going could be crucial in getting the justice Jose and his loved ones deserve.
Sending support to all of you in South Gate. Let's hope there are answers soon.

I've been thinking a lot about the lack of updates in Jose Baena's case. I know the investigation is ongoing, but it must be so incredibly difficult for his family and friends not to have any answers yet. I can't imagine what they're going through, facing each day without knowing who could have done something so awful to someone they loved. It's unsettling to think that whoever is responsible is still out there. I hope that someone who knows something will find the courage to speak up. Baena's family deserves closure and the community deserves to feel safe. Every little piece of information could help, so please, if anyone has any details—even if they seem minor—reach out to the authorities. Keeping them in my thoughts.
