I can’t stop thinking about Monique Aldridge’s little boy. It’s hard to imagine how confusing and impactful this will be for someone so young. I'm glad he wasn't physically harmed, but the emotional repercussions will likely be immense. It seems like Monique was trying to provide a stable environment for him, sharing custody and working hard to build a good life. It's just devastating that this innocent child has to face such a loss. I hope he’s surrounded by love and gets the help he needs to process all of this as he grows. Families like Monique’s who endure such tragedies deserve all the support they can get. Sending all my thoughts to those who knew and loved her.
I cannot stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have on Monique Aldridge's son. It's hard to grasp how anyone will ever be able to explain to him what happened that day. At just five years old, he has already faced an unimaginable loss, losing his mother and having his father as the accused perpetrator. As he grows up, he's going to have to navigate the reality of his family’s past, all while coping with his own grief and confusion.
Monique’s family seems to be incredibly strong, turning their focus towards supporting nonprofits for domestic violence victims in her memory. I hope these efforts not only help others who might find themselves in similar situations but also serve as a way for them to heal. My thoughts go out to Monique’s loved ones as they deal with this unthinkable loss and to her son, who will need all the love and support in the world to piece his life together moving forward. ? Stay strong, little one.
