Danielle Ricker, 31, of Temecula, and her boyfriend, 31-year-old Angel Ponce of Escondido, were reported missing in mid-February 2023 — Ponce on February 18 and Ricker on February 23. Both lived together in Temecula at the time. Investigators connected the disappearances to 60-year-old David Alan Floyd of Temecula, who had a prior relationship with Ricker and a 2021 misdemeanor domestic violence conviction that included a restraining order prohibiting contact with her.
Detectives executed a search warrant at Floyd’s Galleron Street residence on February 27, 2023, and arrested him. On March 2, 2023, the remains of Ricker and Ponce were found near East Benton and Sage roads in the unincorporated area of Hemet. Floyd was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and alleged to have violated the restraining order and been a probationer in possession of a firearm.
What additional information might help clarify the timeline of Ricker and Ponce’s last known movements or contacts?
