On January 30, 2023, George Ramirez, 66, was found shot to death alongside his wife, Sonia Ramirez, 68, and their son, David Ramirez, 43, in their home on Ramona Place in Ontario, California. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department investigated the triple homicide and identified the victims’ grandson and nephew, 29-year-old Pete Anthony Renteria, as the primary suspect.

Months later, on September 30, 2023, Upland Police Department officers responded to a fatal shooting at Memorial Park in Upland and apprehended Renteria at the scene; officers recovered a handgun believed to have been used in that incident. Investigators linked the arrest to the unresolved killings of George, Sonia and David Ramirez, and Renteria was booked into the San Bernardino County Jail facing multiple charges, including murder. The motive for the family killings has not been disclosed.

Did anyone in the community know George, Sonia or David, or have information about their last known movements at home on Ramona Place?
