I can't stop thinking about how this tragic situation has affected John Reed's family and friends. It's so devastating. I heard that John was beloved in his community and was just starting to find his way in life. What strikes me most is how quickly things escalated from a verbal altercation to a fatal shooting. It just goes to show how dangerous and unpredictable confrontations can be. Does anyone know if there's been any talk of increased security or police presence in the area since this happened? With downtown San Diego being such a hub, it must be so unsettling for people who frequent those streets. My thoughts are definitely with John’s loved ones—I can't imagine the pain they’re going through right now.
