On the night of September 11, 2024, at about 10:51 PM, responding officers found 29-year-old Juvuntae Antwiane Sentel Pipkins deceased from multiple gunshot wounds outside an apartment building in the 400 block of Garland Drive in Lake Jackson, Texas. Authorities described the shooting as an isolated incident and initially withheld the victim’s identity until September 16 while next of kin were notified. The Lake Jackson Police Department opened an active investigation but released few details about suspects or motive.
