I've been following the updates on the tragic shooting at Steele Village RV park, and my heart goes out to the families of Kalvin Carrasco and Aydin Torres. What really sticks with me is the impact this kind of violence has on the community, especially when it involves young people with their whole lives ahead of them. It's encouraging to hear that the Alvin Police Department is making progress with the arrest of Xzavier Flores and hinting at more arrests. It seems like they're determined to bring everyone involved to justice, but it makes me wonder about the circumstances that led to such a horrific event. How do we prevent this kind of senseless violence from happening in the first place? The community must be reeling from this, and I truly hope that justice for Kalvin and Aydin will bring some semblance of peace to their loved ones. If anyone is from Alvin, how is the community holding up in the wake of these events?
