I'm deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Chase Costello. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time. I was reflecting on the balloon release they held for him at Cameron Park's Pecan Bottom. It's touching to see a community come together in remembrance, but it's just so frustrating that we're still left without answers. It’s distressing to think that no suspects have been identified yet. It must be excruciating for his family, especially knowing Chase was someone who cherished his family and his time with them. I can't imagine the pain his daughter and soon-to-be-born son will experience growing up without their father. To anyone who has even the smallest piece of information, please think about how you could help bring about some closure for Chase’s loved ones. If you were near Highway 84 or Mexia on June 23, maybe even if you saw or heard something odd—every little detail could be crucial. Let's keep this case in the public eye and do what we can to support his family in their pursuit of justice.
