Fifteen-year-old Dorman Edgar Lee of Cisco, Texas, died on May 28, 2023, after a firearm he was handling discharged accidentally. The Cisco Police Department investigated and determined the shooting was accidental; no charges were filed.

Dorman was a student at Cisco Junior High and an A&B honor student who played football and the tuba in the school band. Family and friends remembered him for his contagious smile, love of music, video games and fishing trips with his grandfather and brother. Funeral services included a visitation at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland, a service at Mountain Top Church in Cisco, and burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas, where he was laid to rest alongside his baby brother; the family held a balloon release at Cisco Lake to celebrate his life.
