Amanda Rose Reynolds, 26, was found dead on April 5, 2023, in Robinson, Texas. Her remains were discovered burning inside a plastic storage container in a field and were burned beyond recognition; a .380 shell casing was recovered at the scene. A white labradoodle named Titan was present, barking and refusing to leave; a microchip scan later tied Titan to Reynolds and helped investigators conclude the remains were likely hers.

Reynolds’ San Marcos apartment was found empty and her black Honda Accord missing. Surveillance footage from a Walmart in San Marcos on April 4, 2023, shows Derek J. Daigneault buying a plastic storage container identical to the one used at the scene, along with a shovel and a gas can, and leaving the store in Reynolds’ car with Titan visible inside. On April 7, 2023, Reynolds’ car was located near Wichita, Kansas; the driver led police on a high-speed chase, crashed, and fled on foot into a grocery store before being taken into custody. Officers found a .380 handgun in the vehicle; ballistic testing matched the shell casing found at the field.

Did anyone in the Wichita or San Marcos areas see Titan or Reynolds in early April 2023, or have information about the movements of Reynolds’ car?
