On January 22, 2023, at about 6:15 a.m., the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting suspicious activity near County Road 4108 in the Greenville/Campbell area of Texas. The caller said her husband had been kidnapped at gunpoint by three individuals, and shortly thereafter gunshots were heard. Deputies found the body of 53-year-old Homero Leos on County Road 4106.

Investigators, including the Texas Rangers, determined Leos had been murdered. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of 62-year-old Silviano Robles of Rowlett, Texas, who was identified as the victim’s brother-in-law. Robles was booked into the Hunt County Detention Center and charged with murder, awaiting arraignment. Motive was not immediately disclosed.
