Shortly after midnight on December 11, 2024, a vehicle driving on Lewis Drive in Natchez, Mississippi, was struck by a barrage of gunfire. Three people were in the car; two were killed and a third was injured and taken to a local hospital. One of the deceased was 39-year-old Keitra McDonald, a Natchez High School graduate and member of Christian Hope Baptist Church who enjoyed cooking and fishing. The other fatality was 43-year-old Londell Williams.
The Natchez Police Department opened an immediate investigation. A couple of days later two people, Larry Griffin and Alona Paul, were arrested and charged in the double homicide. The motive has not been released as the legal process continues.
If anyone knew Keitra, was in the area that night, or has information about what happened on Lewis Drive, please come forward to the authorities.
