Clint Hart, a 45-year-old white man, was killed in his Clarksville, Tennessee, home on the afternoon of Monday, December 16, 2024. The fatal encounter took place at a residence on West Creek Drive and was described by authorities as a domestic-related homicide.
According to an arrest warrant, the violence began during a heated argument between Hart and his wife. A witness recorded a video showing the couple arguing just before several gunshots were heard and Hart appeared to be shot. Hart sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville, where he was pronounced dead.
Present in the room during the shooting was 20-year-old Nathan Rodriguez, who lived at the residence and was seen on the video appearing extremely emotional. When Clarksville Police arrived around 2 p.m., Rodriguez was standing outside, identified himself as the shooter, and was taken into custody. Rodriguez later admitted to shooting Hart multiple times during questioning.
If anyone has information about what happened at the West Creek Drive residence that afternoon, please share it with the Clarksville Police Department.
