A quiet Sunday afternoon in Savannah, Tennessee, turned tragic on December 15, 2024, when 24-year-old Zoe Johnson was fatally shot during what authorities describe as a road rage incident. Johnson was a passenger in a vehicle with her fiancé and their two young daughters when an altercation began with the driver of a pickup truck. Seeking to de-escalate and find safety, the family drove to a residence on Emmaus Way, but the pickup followed them and its driver opened fire on their car.

Johnson was struck and later pronounced dead at Hardin County Medical Center. Her 3-year-old daughter also sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a Nashville hospital in critical condition. Law enforcement arrested 42-year-old Clint Newton and charged him with second-degree murder; he is being held in the Hardin County Jail as the investigation continues.

Does anyone in the Savannah area have information about the incident, the vehicle involved, or the days leading up to December 15?
