Kenneth Laquan Johnson III, known as Geezy, was 33 when he was shot and killed in Walterboro, South Carolina, on Friday, November 22, 2024. He was born March 10, 1991, in Green Pond to Lisa Haynes and Kenneth Johnson Jr., and lived in Walterboro with his wife, Bria, and their four children Jamareana, Kamora, Ja'Lyshia, and ZaCarri.

Johnson worked for Blythe Construction and graduated from Willow Gray Academy in Columbia after attending schools in Colleton County. Family and friends remember him for a vibrant, unapologetic personality and fierce devotion to his family. As of late November 2024, no arrests or suspects had been announced and officials had not released details about the circumstances of the shooting.
