Cordero Wyatt, 36, was reported missing from Center, Texas, after a welfare check was requested by his mother when he failed to return home or answer his phone. Officers went to the residence of his girlfriend, 40-year-old Alicia Petite, who said Wyatt had been there earlier and left with friends; she allowed a search of the home but Wyatt was not found.

Police later discovered Wyatt’s body in a field. Following that discovery, Petite and another person were arrested in connection with his death. An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death and investigators have not released additional details or the exact charges.

If anyone saw Wyatt in Center on December 23, 2024, or has information about where he went after leaving Alicia Petite’s residence, please share what is known with investigators.
