Andrew Kyle Milton, 34, was fatally shot multiple times outside a convenience store in Batesville, Arkansas, on July 12, 2020. He later identified his shooter to responding officers as Casey Evans and said Evans had fled in a red Ford F-150.
Police found the truck and located 46-year-old Robert Casey Evans in the bed with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. Investigators believe Milton fired at Evans as Evans tried to leave. Evans admitted to shooting Milton, saying he had entered Milton’s vehicle to discuss drugs and money, got into an argument, and then fired after seeing Milton point a gun at him. Evans was taken into custody after receiving medical treatment.
Ian Hunter Doyle, 32, was driven from the scene after the shooting and an arrest warrant was later issued charging him with hindering apprehension or prosecution; authorities described him as evasive during questioning and a habitual offender.
If anyone has information about the events outside the store that evening or about the red Ford F-150, please share what you know.
