A fatal shooting in a Pine Bluff apartment parking lot ended the life of 29-year-old Brandy Crutchfield on December 17, 2018. Police say a heated argument between Crutchfield and another man escalated into gunfire; officers arriving about 4:45 p.m. found Crutchfield with multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two pistols and several shell casings were recovered in the lot.

Investigators located 26-year-old Daryll Broady at the scene and took him into custody. Detectives interviewed Broady and reported no other suspects. The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office later announced probable cause to arrest Broady on charges of First Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Certain Person, and a judge set bond at $250,000.

Does anyone have information about what led to the argument or witnessed the incident in that South Olive Street parking lot?
