On May 14, 2016, a gambling gathering at a Pine Bluff residence turned deadly. According to witness accounts, 26-year-old Andre Eason was among several people at the home when 35-year-old Travis Price left, then returned with two armed companions with the apparent intent to rob those inside. Witnesses said the group demanded money at gunpoint; during the confrontation shots were fired and Eason sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was found on the floor and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Pine Bluff police identified Travis Price as a primary suspect. Five eyewitnesses later testified that Price, known to some as Red or Red Nose, left and returned before someone fired a gun. Price was arrested and charged with capital murder, aggravated robbery, and being a felon in possession of a firearm, and faced habitual-offender enhancements based on earlier convictions. He requested an attorney during a police interview, ending the questioning. Court testimony from multiple witnesses played a central role in the case.

Did anyone at the gathering or who knew Andre see or hear anything that could add detail about what happened that night?
