In the early morning of January 10, 2016, Jeremiah Jones, 37, was found dead inside a car in Monticello, Arkansas, the victim of a single fatal gunshot wound above his right eye. The Monticello Police Department was notified about 6:20 AM and responded to a residence at 120 South Chester Street, where investigators also found 37-year-old Shalonda Binns fatally shot inside the house and a third person, Lavar Thompson of Dermott, wounded and taken to a Little Rock hospital.

Detectives and Arkansas State Police agents developed evidence indicating Thompson shot Jones and another friend, Kareena Gold, earlier that morning after an episode of drinking and gambling; Jones was killed in the car and Gold survived a head wound and sought help. Thompson then went to the home of his ex-girlfriend, Binns, forced entry and shot her; during a struggle there Markeia Jamison wounded Thompson and fled to summon police. An arrest warrant was issued for Thompson and he was taken into custody on January 12, 2016.

Does anyone have information about Jones’s movements that morning or knew him from Monticello who can help fill gaps in the timeline?
