Anthony Ray Edwards, 37, was found dead on a Washington County, Utah dirt road just west of U.S. 91 on the morning of February 5, 1998. A resident of Scenic, Arizona, Edwards was born October 16, 1959. Authorities determined he died from multiple gunshot wounds and the death was ruled a homicide.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation, but details about what led to the shooting have been scarce and the case has gone cold.
