Brian Patrick Lowes, 61, was found dead in a room at the Embassy Suites in Tigard, Oregon, on March 6, 2020. An autopsy showed he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and the state medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.

Brian, also known as Bob, lived and worked in Nehalem managing a large forested estate owned by his uncle. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and training dogs, and collected diecast model cars, rare cigars and antique slot machines. Friends and family remembered him for an infectious laugh and a strong devotion to his family.

Detectives identified 46-year-old Danielle Ann Morin as a suspect. With assistance from the Seattle Police Department, U.S. Marshals and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, Tigard Police located and arrested Morin in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, on April 1, 2020; she was held in the King County Jail pending extradition to Oregon.
