A Fourth of July celebration at Mojitos Country Club in Randolph, Massachusetts, turned deadly on the evening of July 4, 2022. Around 8 p.m., in the parking area as a pool party was ending, 29-year-old Ivanildo Cabral and another man had a verbal exchange with a group of men that quickly escalated and led to gunfire. Randolph Police found two men with gunshot wounds; both were taken to a Boston hospital, and Cabral later died of his injuries. The other victim survived with life-threatening wounds.

Cabral, from Worcester, was described by his mother as a generous person who loved amateur boxing; she said she was shocked and puzzled that he had been in Randolph that night, since he usually stayed closer to Worcester. Investigators from the Randolph Police and Massachusetts State Police pursued the case for months, and arrests followed: in March 2023 a 29-year-old man from Worcester was charged in connection with the murder; a second 29-year-old from Worcester became the subject of a manhunt and was later taken into custody in May 2023; a 28-year-old was indicted on accessory after the fact charges for allegedly driving the two to New York after the shooting.

Does anyone have information about Cabral’s movements that evening or about the confrontation in the club parking area?
