Anthony Clay, 49, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was fatally shot on June 24, 2016. The shooting happened about 12:18 AM on Harvard Street as Clay was walking toward an apartment. Authorities have investigated the case but, as of January 4, 2025, no one has been charged or publicly identified as a suspect.

Family members say Clay had no known enemies, a detail they stress while coping with confusion and grief over his death. The case has remained open and investigators and the community have periodically renewed appeals for information, including on the fourth anniversary of the shooting.

Anyone who was in the Harvard Street area that night or who has information that could help identify a shooter is asked to come forward.
