A Norwood community shaken: on March 14, 2016, 28-year-old Edison Tejeda was found near the rear entrance of a building at the Stone Bridge Apartments on Dean Street after a caller reported sounds they thought might be fireworks or gunshots shortly before 2 a.m. Officers discovered Tejeda gravely wounded; he was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. Investigators concluded he had been shot outside and then stumbled back into a hallway before collapsing.

Detectives said the shooting did not appear random and began interviewing family and friends to reconstruct his final movements, while appealing to the public for information that might lead to an arrest. No suspects had been publicly identified in the immediate aftermath, and the case left residents of the normally quiet town on edge. If anyone knew Edison or was in the area that night, what did they see or hear?
