On November 4, 1979, children playing in a dump in Lynn, Massachusetts, found a dismembered male torso that was later identified as 22-year-old Robert Bino Garbino of 126 Winnepurkit Avenue. Investigators determined Garbino had been shot multiple times in the head, back, and shoulder before his body was dismembered; his severed head and hands were later recovered buried in the yard of his home.

Garbino was known to be a prospect for the Hells Angels, and police suspected his killing was connected to a drug dispute, possibly a deal that went wrong. His friend and roommate, Michel Gagnon, a Hells Angels member, became the prime suspect; Gagnon was also tied to the disappearance of his girlfriend, Susan Marie DeQuina, who vanished October 3, 1979, after which her car was found abandoned and burned in Saugus. On November 25, 1979, Gagnon was found shot to death in a Bridgeport, Connecticut apartment; his death was ruled a suicide, though some have questioned that finding.

No arrests have been announced and the murder of Robert Garbino remains officially unsolved. Did anyone in the area in 1979 see or hear anything that could help explain what happened to Robert Garbino?
