Henry Romero Jr., 38, and his brother Rudy Romero, 32, were shot and killed at a home on Meadow Lake Road in Los Lunas, New Mexico, on February 19, 2021. The Valencia County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting began during a dispute over stolen property and escalated to gunfire that left both men dead.

Detectives identified several people believed to be involved and within six days made four arrests. Deputies captured 37-year-old Felicia Anaya after a brief foot chase the day of the shootings. David Maestes, 29, and Samuel Maestes, 26, turned themselves in, and 25-year-old Jacob Arnold was arrested at his residence. All four were booked into the Valencia County Detention Center.

Anyone with information about the dispute on Meadow Lake Road or the events that led to the shooting is asked to come forward.
