Terry Williams, 56, was reported missing from his Albuquerque home on April 24, 2017. Investigators found signs of a possible forced entry: an alarm box and the cables to the apartment’s security camera DVR had been ripped from the wall. Surveillance footage later showed a man and a woman entering the residence with a key; Williams’ girlfriend said only two keys existed for the apartment and she had one.

Williams’ body was found on April 28, 2017, in a remote area of Tijeras. The body had been burned and bullet casings were recovered nearby. A friend said Williams had been in a heated, threatening phone call days before he disappeared. The investigation led to Craig Smith, his girlfriend Evonne Jaramillo, and Smith’s son Brandon Smith. Authorities arrested all three after a five-hour standoff where Brandon surrendered. Craig Smith admitted to killing Williams and implicated Jaramillo.

Craig Smith was charged with murder, conspiracy, kidnapping, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, and burglary; Jaramillo faced charges of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and tampering with evidence. What information can anyone offer about Williams’ movements or contacts in the days before April 24, 2017?
