On the night of July 11, 2020, a violent clash between rival motorcycle clubs near Jake’s Roadhouse BBQ on North Lamar Street in Arvada, Colorado, left 43-year-old William Kelly Henderson dead from a gunshot wound. The confrontation between members of the Hells Angels and the Mongols also wounded two other men by gunfire and produced further brutality when a local musician who tried to help Henderson was struck with a helmet and run over by a motorcycle, suffering a traumatic brain injury and other severe long-term injuries.

The suspects fled the scene, and investigators say fleeing assailants also ran two other motorcyclists off the road, causing serious harm. A 19-month, multiagency investigation involving the Arvada Police Department and the ATF led to arrests of ten men across Colorado, California, Utah and Florida on charges that included first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and violations of Colorado’s Organized Crime Control Act. Nine of the ten pleaded guilty and were sentenced in Jefferson County District Court in April 2024; prosecutors said they could not definitively identify who fired the shot that killed Henderson but pursued racketeering and related charges against Mongols members.

Did anyone in the Arvada area see the events that night or have information about the confrontation around Jake’s Roadhouse BBQ?
