Richard Fay, 39, was found dead from a gunshot outside a residence in the 600 block of Spruce Court in Cañon City, Colorado, on the night of September 28, 2019. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot and seeing a dark-colored sedan with out-of-state plates shortly before the shooting.

Investigators focused on two people, 23-year-old Luciano Pogorzelski and 21-year-old Madison Blackburn, who were believed to have been in contact with Fay before he was killed and to be traveling in a 2005 dark gray four-door Audi with a Tennessee plate. Both were later located in Gastonia, North Carolina, arrested initially on unrelated gun charges, and then linked to the Cañon City homicide. Arrest warrants for second-degree murder were issued for Pogorzelski and Blackburn, and they were being held in North Carolina pending extradition to Colorado.

No information about the relationship between Fay and the two suspects has been released. Did anyone in the Cañon City area see that dark sedan or know of connections between Fay and the people named?
