A daylight dispute over a girl in a North Las Vegas strip mall parking lot ended with the fatal shooting of 16-year-old LaMadre Harris on November 13, 2018. Harris, a Black student at Legacy High School known as Man Man, was standing with his 18-year-old sister when 18-year-old Al’Dijon Williams allegedly shot him several times in front of multiple onlookers. Harris was taken to University Medical Center but died of his wounds.

The shooting near West Centennial Parkway and North Goldfield Street prompted an investigation by the North Las Vegas Police Department with FBI assistance. Williams, also known as Fatty, was identified as the sole suspect and was located and arrested on November 20, 2018, near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway. He was charged with murder with a deadly weapon; witnesses reportedly said Williams had talked about killing someone beforehand and that he stood over Harris and laughed after shooting him.

If anyone witnessed the November 13 incident or knew the relationships between those involved, please come forward with information.
