Davante Richardson, 28, was last seen July 22, 2020, leaving his home on Mississippi Avenue Southeast in Washington, D.C., and telling family he was driving to Wyoming. An aspiring music producer, he said he was going to help Kanye West despite having no personal connection to the rapper. He was driving a blue 2016 Jeep Compass.

On July 27 the Jeep was found abandoned on a remote dirt road in Greybull, Wyoming, about 60 to 70 miles from West’s ranch. The vehicle was operable and contained his laptop and phones, but Davante was not there. Witnesses reported seeing a man matching his description at a gas station on July 26 and said a white woman was seen driving the Jeep while the man entered the passenger side.

Extensive searches have not turned up further clues, and authorities including the FBI continue to seek information. If anyone saw Davante, the Jeep, or the people described in late July 2020 in Wyoming or along the route from D.C., please come forward with what was seen.
