On June 24, 2014, officers in Wichita, Kansas, responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots at a home on South Beech and found three people shot to death. Twenty-one-year-old Sean Pham was discovered in a hallway, shot multiple times and also suffering blunt force trauma. His 20-year-old wife, Trinh Pham, was found in a basement bedroom, and her 45-year-old mother, Tuyet Huynh, was located in the master bedroom; both women had been shot multiple times. The couple’s infant son, who was in the same room as his mother, was found unharmed.

A 41-year-old man, identified as Vinh Van Nguyen, emerged from the master bedroom and surrendered to police without a struggle; he was taken into custody and arrested. Investigators described the killings as stemming from a domestic dispute, saying Huynh had been trying to end a relationship with Nguyen and prosecutors suggested Nguyen killed Huynh in a rage and then shot Sean and Trinh, possibly to eliminate witnesses. The community lost three lives that night; the infant survived.

Does anyone have information about the family, the neighborhood, or what led up to that night that could help clarify the timeline?
