On September 20, 2020, 20-year-old Trevor Cleary of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, was found dead at a residence on White Oak Ridge Road in the Fountain Run community of Monroe County. He and a 19-year-old friend, Austin Copas, were discovered inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds to the head. Kentucky State Police led the initial investigation with help from local law enforcement and emergency services.

Investigators identified two suspects, 29-year-old Edward Whitledge of Bakersfield, California, and 28-year-old Kayla Spivey of Hiham, Tennessee. Arrest warrants charged Whitledge with two counts of murder and Spivey with two counts of complicity to commit murder. The pair fled and were last seen driving a black Nissan Altima; authorities described them as armed and dangerous and launched a multi-state search.

What information do readers have about the Fountain Run area, the victims, or sightings of that black Nissan Altima around September 20–October 9, 2020?
