Nicole Wagner, 46, of Berry, Kentucky, was found dead inside a vehicle on Price Lane in the early morning hours of a Sunday in April 2020. Kentucky State Police troopers, assisting the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, pronounced her dead at the scene; the coroner determined the cause of death was a gunshot wound.

Investigators say a verbal argument escalated and that 50-year-old Donald Bottoms of Sadieville used a handgun, resulting in Wagner’s death. Bottoms was arrested and charged with murder and held at the Bourbon County Detention Center. Kentucky State Police Post 6 in Dry Ridge is handling the investigation.
