In the early morning hours of a July day in Lexington, Kentucky, the body of 42-year-old Earl Parvin was found by a passerby on Ballpark Drive near Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The Fayette County coroner determined Parvin died of a gunshot wound, and authorities immediately treated the death as a homicide.
The initial investigation produced few answers. Police canvassed the area but reported no immediate reports of shots fired, and details about a motive or possible suspects have not been released. Investigators have been working to reconstruct Parvin’s final hours and have appealed to the public for information.
If anyone in Lexington saw something that morning or has information about Earl Parvin’s movements or contacts, please contact the investigators handling the case.
