On a summer morning in Glasgow, Kentucky, a passing motorist found the body of 40-year-old Kevin Mike Michael Miller on the side of Lick Branch Road. Miller, a White male and a farm manager originally from Bowling Green, had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was discovered on July 8, 2018. The Barren County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police responded after the motorist alerted authorities.
Investigators reported that Miller had been involved in a roadside altercation with 52-year-old Bobby R. Conatser of Glasgow. According to the investigation, Conatser fired a shotgun that struck Miller in the back, leaving him fatally wounded on the rural road. Conatser was identified as the primary suspect, arrested, and charged; later court filings show a guilty plea to a reduced charge and a subsequent sentence.
Was anyone in the area that morning aware of a dispute on Lick Branch Road involving Miller and Conatser?
