Thomas Edward Ratliff, 24, was shot multiple times at a residence on Hansford Road in Eubank, Kentucky, on April 27, 2015. He was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital but died of his injuries. Thomas was a husband and father of three young sons.

Investigators identified a suspect quickly and arrested Thomas’s 21-year-old half-brother, Christopher L. Letner, after Letner contacted 911 and was found at another residence in possession of two handguns. Letner was charged with murder and later pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter; prosecutors said evidence would have shown the shooting followed a fight between the half-brothers. Letner was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Does anyone have information about the events on Hansford Road that night or about Thomas’s life in the Eubank community?
