Ryan Prince, a 27-year-old White man, was found shot multiple times and unresponsive on the bedroom floor of a Lake Desire home near Renton, Washington, on the evening of February 17, 2014. The house had been ransacked and a surveillance video storage device was missing, leading investigators to believe Prince may have interrupted a burglary at the home he shared with his employer, who owned local medical marijuana dispensaries.

A photograph on Prince’s cell phone, recovered about 200 yards from the house the day after the murder and taken roughly ten minutes before neighbors reported hearing gunshots, showed a close-up of a license plate on a burgundy Chrysler PT Cruiser. That image led detectives to Stephen M. Marshall, whose name was linked to the vehicle. Prince had been shot four times with at least two different guns and severely beaten; the autopsy reported a barbell had been forced into his throat, breaking the hyoid bone.

A second suspect, Ryan Daniel Erker, was later arrested and charged with murder. Marshall was described by investigators as the ringleader of a robbery aimed at the roommate, with Erker alleged to have scouted the location and served as a lookout. Does anyone have information about the burgundy PT Cruiser, the neighborhood activity around February 17, 2014, or other details that could shed light on what happened that night?
