Juan Uel Rosas was 43 and lived in Denton County, Texas, but was found dead on a patch of ground beside Interstate 35 near Davis in Murray County, Oklahoma. A passing motorist discovered his body near Exit 47 on June 7, 2020; investigators treated the scene as suspicious and the medical examiner determined he died of a gunshot wound.

Investigators say Rosas was kidnapped from his home in Corinth, Texas, on June 6, 2020, and transported across state lines into Oklahoma. Law enforcement described the killing as planned rather than random, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation identified several suspects with close personal ties to Rosas. By early September 2020 two suspects had been arrested in Texas on first-degree murder warrants; a third person was later sought on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder and was believed to have fled to Mexico.

Does anyone have information about Rosas’s movements in Corinth on June 6, 2020, or about contacts he had in the days before his disappearance?
