Eric Wyman Trammell, 35, was found dead on the side of a road in Choctaw, Oklahoma, on August 27, 2018, the result of multiple gunshot wounds. The Choctaw Police Department investigated and asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for assistance. Surveillance video from the area showed Trammell met with four men in the same vehicle about 30 minutes before he was killed; investigators identified one man as Jaylen Brown while the other three remained unidentified at first.
The OSBI offered a $5,000 reward for information. In November 2020, authorities announced arrests: 19-year-old Christopher L. Dawson, 20-year-old Jaylen Williamson, and a 16-year-old juvenile were taken into custody, while Jaylen Brown was already jailed on an unrelated murder charge. All four were expected to face First Degree Murder charges in connection with Trammell’s killing. Does anyone have information about Trammell’s movements that evening or knew the vehicle and the men seen on surveillance?
